Traditionally, these herbs have been associated with the following:

Flaxseed - is commonly used to improve digestive health or relieve constipation. Flaxseed may also help lower total blood cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or "bad") cholesterol levels, which may help reduce the risk of heart disease.

Organic rooibos – bone, heart, and skin health, the digestive system, and blood sugar levels. The antioxidants in rooibos can boost heart health. Drinking rooibos tea daily has been linked to lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels, and reduced risk of developing cardiovascular disease. These can protect against heart conditions, including heart attacks and strokes.

Cinnamon bark – control of cholesterol, brain health, blood sugar regulator.Cinnamon can boost metabolism, since the body uses more energy to process the spice than it does for other foods. Cinnamon may have an insulin-like action in the body, which is seen in the way sugar is broken down in the body. Cinnamon can also improve body metabolism, targeting the fat deposited in the abdominal area.

Dandelion root – The root of the dandelion plant may act as a mild laxative and has been used to improve digestion. It helps to detox the liver, gallbladder, kidneys and blood, and also regulate bowel motions. The root is used for the liver and colon and the leaves are used as a diuretic to gently flush toxins through the kidneys. Dandelion is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which helps protect cells from toxin damage.

Licorice root - powerful antioxidants, skin and liver health. Licorice root has been used in both Eastern and Western medicine to treat a variety of illnesses ranging from the common cold to liver disease. infections and also conditions such as digestive problems, menopausal symptoms, cough, and bacterial and viral infections.

DIRECTIONS

1. Start by boiling water in a kettle or pot. 

2. Measure out the desired amount of loose detox tea leaves. The general rule of thumb is 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 ounces of water, but you can adjust based on your personal preference for strength.

3. Place the tea leaves in a tea infuser or filter and place it in a teapot or mug.

4. Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves and let it steep for the recommended amount of time. This can vary depending on the type of detox tea you are using, but generally, it is around 3-5 minutes.

5. After the steeping time is up, remove the tea infuser or filter from the teapot or mug. 

6. Enjoy your freshly brewed detox tea! Repeat these steps for your second cup in the afternoon!
